About JulianaCars

Here is how I put a car policy together, and what I look at before your price ever goes out.

Where I begin

I Price The Driving You Do, Not The Driving Someone Guessed

Plenty of insurers build a price from a profile so wide that every driver inside it ends up looking identical. A car that sits still six days out of seven can be judged the same way as one fighting traffic every morning and every evening. I work from the other direction and start with what your car really does in a normal week.

So I ask about your yearly miles before I price anything, I want to know where the car sleeps at night, and I leave the deductible with you rather than setting one on your behalf. I will not slide an extra onto your policy just to round out a package.

How I work

Three Rules I Keep On Every Policy I Write

I Write It So You Read It Once

I write each clause so you get it on the first pass and never have to circle back. When a phrase only makes sense next to a dictionary, I rewrite it long before it reaches your paperwork.

I Price What You Actually Drive

I build your number from the miles you cover, the spot the car sits overnight and the record you carry, not from whatever wide bucket the make and model happen to land in.

You Always Reach Me

Your question lands with the one person who already knows your file, so nothing needs explaining twice. When you open a claim I work it myself instead of passing you down a line of strangers.

What I ask you

The Little Answers That Swing Your Number The Most

My quote is only as good as the things I think to ask you. Four quick answers usually account for the whole distance between a fair price and one padded out with cover you would never use.

  • Miles you put on in a year. Move closer to work or split the driving with a second car and your risk falls, so I want your number falling with it.
  • Where the car spends the night. A locked garage, an open driveway and a curb space carry very different odds after dark, and I count that difference.
  • The deductible you settle on. Every step you move it changes what you pay each month, so I show you both sides of that trade before you commit.
  • What the car is still worth. Once an older vehicle falls far enough, I would rather tell you to drop collision than sell you a layer that could never pay you back.

I Never Want You Guessing About Your Own Policy

Before

I Show The Whole Price First

You see the number, the deductible and exactly what every layer pays out on one screen, so you can hold my policy honestly against the one it would replace.

During

Changes I Make Without Argument

Buy a different car, move to a new street or start driving less and I will update the policy, and you will see the revised figure before I put it into effect.

At Claim

I Open Your Claim When You Ask

Tell me what happened in your own words and add whatever you got from the other driver, and I have enough to open the file and begin working it.

At Renewal

Nothing Renews Behind Your Back

I write to you before the date with the coming price and a plain note on whatever moved it, which leaves you room to reshape the cover first.
